Welcome to the world of pressure washing! Pressure washers are a great tool for homeowners with heaps of vehicles looking for a quick way to clean their driveways, decks and cars. You’re in good hands, but remember saftey first!
Always read the manual (snooze I know) but this will have the best information specific to your pressure washer. Having said that here are some basic points to follow! 1) Wear appropriate safety gear e.g., gumboots, goggles, gloves etc. 2) Don't use on a ladder or unstable surfaces and for goodness sake stay away from electrical outlets! 3) Beware of kickback, water can come out of with force and without warning! 4) Finally, it's not to be used as a tool to fend off children and pets.

Set up
Connect your pressure washer, hose, gun and lance (optional) as shown in the diagram.
Choose the correct tip for the job at hand to make sure you get the best clean.
Turn on the water; if it doesn't come out, check you're set up right and there's no leaks.

Technique
Make sure to choose the right product for your end goal whether your cleaning vehicles 🚗, patios or a house! 🏡
Once you've applied the product and eveything is all foamed up allow it to dwell. This gives it time to work 💪 and break down all the dirt and grime.
Avoid washing in direct sunlight 😎 so the product doesn't dry too quickly and bake on. If not possible work in smaller sections and re-wet as needed.
For best results work from the bottom up in a smooth up and down motion. 💦 This stops dirt and soap from running down bits that are still dry to avoid streaks.
Stand half a metre away from your desired cleaning area.💧Feel free to get a little closer for stubborn spots, but be careful, or you could strip paint or cause other damage.
